... My... mom had a younger sister
and parents, of course
From what Granny's told me, she 'n them were really close...
Mom was always family-orientated, though, so no surprise...

But... when she met my dad...
they kind of started drifting
I don't think they probably liked him much

After... after I was born...
My mom's family basically disowned her
I never met any of 'em... hell, I didn't know they existed 'til Al asked Granny--Mom never talked about them

I guess they were the sorts who didn't like the huge age gap between my folks
let alone having a baby without ever getting married...

So, uh... to get to the point...
Yes. Me and Al have extended family
however, I don't consider myself to be related to them
They're the exact opposite of what a family's suppose to be.
